Painters, writers, musicians, potters, quilters, woodworkers, live and work here. Year round community and cultural events are organized and presented by many creative volunteer groups.
In addition to organized artistic and cultural activities there are many ways to keep fit. There are several walking trails (www.galtt.ca) and beach accesses, sailing, boating, kayaking, cycling, a golf course and a gym.
Our elementary school has active community participation. Along with pre-school and day care facilities, there are many organized recreational and educational activities for children from toddlers to teens. (www.gabriolahopecentre.com)
Choices in housing range from architect designed custom homes on spectacular view or waterfront properties to garden homes and rustic cabins. Property sizes range from 1/4 acre to 20 acres. (www.coastrealty.com)
